So you wanna get to know Stealing Jane? Well in general, we are pretty much all addicted to MySpace, We all find farts hilarious, and we wanna be rockstars. That’s about all we have in common, but I think it’s our differences that really make our music stand out. We like to categorize our music as “Groove Rock”, or simply “Pop”, because although we’re really something new, it would fit with today’s music very well. We’ve been called by those who really try to categorize us as Jazz influenced Rock, fourth wave ska? Funky ska, funky rock, latin ska rock funk blues jazz whatever, and I think that if you take a step back and see how we fit in the scene today, it really is just a new form of Pop.
On the drums we have Vito Fraccelvieri, who loves the 80’s and old school Hip Hop. On lead guitar we have Matt Giordano, who grew up on hip hop, and eventually moved on to Dave Matthews and acoustic rock, blues and jazz. On the bass we have Brian Bunce, who is a ska kid who listens to modern rock. On lead vocals and rhythm guitar, Bryce Larsen, always a ska kid, soon moved on to Maroon 5 and other rock influenced groove bands along with the groove and vocal greats like Sinatra, Stevie Wonder, etc. The yeti on the saxophone is Pat Iannelli, who at heart will always be into the hardcore and metal music that brought him through high school. Playing trombone is Dave Calzone who loves classic rock and old school metal more than anything. Finally, On the trumpet we have Andrew Mericle who’s always been into modern hard rock. These are all of our core musical interests but you can be sure we are always sharing music and listening to everything from Coltrane to Killswitch Engage.

Basically, we ask that when you add the band on here, add all of our individual profiles too! We like to get to know our fanbase as closely as possible, and although it can be difficult to know everyone… we’ve been doing pretty well so far! Most importantly, we need you all to check out our show schedule and try to come to as many shows as possible, and bring your friends, and tell them to bring their friends! We gotta spread this like wildfire!
